New to Aira? Sign up for a free account on the Aira Web App to get started. The web app will work on any computer with a microphone and webcam. Initial registration is free, but you’ll need to call their customer care at (800)835-1934 in the U.S. to purchase a plan.
Downloading RIM
RIM is completely free to download. That’s right, no cost to receive remote assistance via RIM! Just download it onto your Windows or macOS machine and follow the installation instructions for your platform.
Using RIM with an Agent
Once you’re set up, it’s time for your first call! All of Aira’s agents can use RIM; simply ask them to help you with your task using RIM. They’ll ask you for a keyword, after which they will enter your chosen keyword into their RIM app. Once this happens, press Windows+Shift+Backspace on Windows, or Option+Shift+Backspace on a Mac to prepare your setup. Once the agent gives you the go ahead, enter the keyword and hit enter. Boom! Connection established! Aira will take it from here, providing the remote assistance you need! Once the task is done, you can disconnect via via Windows+Shift+D on Windows, or Option+Shift+D on a Mac. That’s it! We hope that RIM makes getting remote assistance with your computer as smooth and painless as possible.
