I teach special education teachers, most who are now struggling to meet the needs of students with disabilities online. I would like to experiment with Scribe so I can teach them to use it. At this time, I cannot ask for a formal service request, however. All of us are overwhelmed with moving all Unversity operations online.

We have a legally blind student in algebra II. He cannot make out graphs from the textbook, uses his phone, and depends mostly on oral comments. We are now on-line only and zoom, google meet etc, are useless for him. Lori has details.

We work with a high school student that is blind and a heavy technology user. He is learning in a remote environment as well as in person. Scribe for Education would be an important tool for our educators to support our continual effort to provide accessible documents to our student in a timely fashion.

We have a blind instructor who has asked me to check out the accessibility formats available and the speed in which the items are available. His name is John Russo and he teaches History for us. I am actually the instructional designer for the campus. This would be a very useful service I hope.

I teach assistive technology at the University of Pittsburgh. It is not unusual that some of the students have a difficult time with print either due to vision issues or cognitive/reading challenges. I also provide AT services at the Hiram G. Andrews Center (HGAC) in Johnstown, PA where I see people with all types of disabilities. HGAC is a training/rehab facility for students with disabilities so many of the students have print difficulties. This service would be invaluable for so many of the people that I see.
I listed my supervisor at Pitt as the administrative reference and I plan to share this exciting news with the administration at HGAC.
