Approved teachers can upload documents and get tagged PDF, HTML, braille, large print, EPUB, DAISY, and MP3 outputs. The DAISY format works with compatible talking book devices such as the Victor Reader Stream.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI grew up blind, and I know what it\u2019s like to be in a classroom without the material everyone else is using,\u201d said CEO Mike Calvo. \u201cTeachers need practical tools to get those materials into students\u2019 hands while the lesson is still happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Most of Pneuma\u2019s team is blind or visually impaired, bringing firsthand experience to its accessibility work.<\/p>\n<p>The free program covers automated conversion and requires annual re-verification. It\u2019s meant for individual educators, not district-wide archives.
